A peek between the covers.
Made for pencils and crayons. Picture pages have blank backs; felt tips may still show through.
A note from the press
A little country.
A little curious.
Quite a lot of character.
Wren & Wicket is a new publishing house with a fondness for illustrated worlds, small discoveries and books that earn their place on the kitchen table.
We are beginning with a Christmas adventure for children. Next, we would like to make something a little more intricate for grown-ups. One good book at a time.

A few useful things.
Is it a storybook or a colouring book?
Both, in a small way. Each of the 40 pictures has a short sentence. Read them together as the four friends get ready for Christmas, then colour the scene.
Which colours should we use?
Pencils and crayons are our starting point. There is no set to buy and no right shade of scarf. Try a spare sheet behind the page if you use felt tips; the paper has not been tested as marker-proof.
Can I buy the book now?
Not yet. We are checking the printed proof before opening orders. The planned UK price is £7.99. We will add the Amazon link when the listing is live.
Are you making books for adults?
We are exploring more detailed Christmas scenes for grown-ups. They are still on the drawing board, with no publication date or pre-orders.
